As I look into the future I'm thinking it's time to take this safe queen out and prepare it for occasional carry - less than 10 round capacity. It's a blued Series 80 model that's has maybe 200 rounds through it. It's of 1987 vintage, all original, and has been 100 percent reliable and very accurate with target and SD loads I've put through it thus far. I keep an eye on the original collet bushing and the Series 80 trigger isn't a problem for me - I normally shoot G21's.

Biggest issue is with the Elliason target sights. My 60 year old eyes just aren't what they one were. I just installed a set of Truglow TFO's on a G21, I recently picked up, and I like them, but long term durability is still unknown. All my other .45's are high capacity with original factory sights and they still work for me - most times.

Looking for high visibility/night sight recommendations. Oh, I'll probably remove the wood grips, since they're pristine, for something else...? I'm also open to other recommendations related to this model and vintage.
