PVA Freedom From The Crown Barrel Sale Updates

PVA must be doing something right because I ordered my barrel at 11pm on July 7th and the barrel shipped today. Damn, what a change from the last few sales!

Props to those guys and making some major improvements! Looking forward to seeing how she shoots.

For the record barrel specs were:
Tikka t3 shouldered prefit
223 chamber
1-7 twist - 26”
Muzzle threads
M24 contour

I didn’t send them my action. They offer it as an option for tikka shouldered. From general consensus, tikkas seem to be consistent enough. I’m still going to shock headspace but if they are making them, Josh and the crew know what they are doing so I trust them

I'm wondering why it's taking so long for my Barreled action then. They mentioned they have the action in stock. Sounds like they're getting plenty of barrels in...
Spoke to them last week, and they mentioned it should be soon...

I’m guessing they are going by caliber and I just got lucky choosing the correct one. Either way, should be sooner rather than later

That’s insane! I was at over 6 months when I canceled my order from them in May. I’m glad they got their shit together.

I purchased a barrel from the Freedom from the crown sale and threw it on my Tikka Tac A1. Picked up a 26-inch M24 contour prefit (shouldered) and it's a hammer. Ran it in my first match this weekend and had no issues out to 750yds on irritatingly small targets.
