Night Vision PVS 14 on Sniper system

Hey guys,
I've use the PVS-14 on an M4 and on an Ak. Both times setting it up behind the red system.

Is it possible to use the 14's on a bolt gun, mounting it in front of the scope?


I tried the search feature with no luck.

I don't think so. There are some mounts that will allow you to set it up behind the scope. It works ok but eye relief may become an issue. I've messed with it some and does ok at closer ranges. Not ideal but when it's all you have, it beats nothing

In front. No.

Behind, yes.

On an AK and M4 head mounted with a weapon laser is the way to play.

so you tried to mount the 14's in front and had no luck? How come?
Was is mechanical issues or was is image quality issues looking through the scope then Nods?
