Does anybody know if someone makes an adapter to put a magnified eyepiece on a PVS-27 like if I wanted to use it like a magnified monocular not on a gun something 8x or 10x? if not would any commercial eyepiece work, like the ones for a spotter or telescope?

eh.... buy a pvs-14 if you want to do that dude. carrying around a 3.5lb clip on to just look around would suck. that said you can mount the 27 in front of any magnified optic.

if you are serious and very strong (heavy) spotter, then contact
surgeon shooter on here. He works with those, and can give you an answer and is a good guy to deal with

Ive got a pvs14 setup with a 3x, just looking to get the most use out of my pvs 27 like in situations where more magnification would be better but putting it on a rifle would look bad and sticking infront of a still fairly long spotter would not be advantages, a small eyepiece no more than a couple inches on the back would give me a pretty compact 10x night vision option.

mount it on a dummy stock with a long section of rail.

found a cheap microscope 10x eyepiece on amazon and will test my theory, just trying to keep it as short as possible
You’re going to need something that focuses to the same range that you’re looking at (hopefully 100yd out to infinity). An eyepiece or loupe is probly just gonna give you an up close look at the phosphor screen itself rather than the image being projected through the clip-on.
