I'm planning to put a compensator on my LMT MWS. Does anyone know if the barrel is threaded 5/8 X 24? I presume it is, but don't have the riffle yet and can't measure. Thanks...

You might consider something different other than a FSC30. I had one on a 6.8 and it made a lot of noise, but it didn't do much for recoil reduction. The FSC556 is good. The FSC30 is not so good. IMHO
