Who makes the Lowest height QD mount I want to go from a 20 MOA base on a bolt gun to a Flat top AR 10 with the same scope.
scope will be a Mk 4, 6-20 x 50 30mm

what I ran into when I tried a one piece QD on the 20 MOA base bolt gun it jacked the scope up so high on the set up it looked a felt goofy.

any been there done that info would be appreciated.

Larue makes one with a 1.285" centerline and Bobro makes one with a 1.375" centerline. I'd have to check ADM's website, but I believe they make one with a centerline in between the Bobro and Larue.

Those would be cantilever style mounts as well assuming you'd require the additional forward offset since your mounting on an AR. If your running an AR10 with a monolithic upper (Mega, POF, etc) then you wont have to worry about the forward offset and probably would have some options to drag that centerline a little lower.

Rifle is AR 10 Mega Arms billet matched upper/lower with Troy 13.8 battle rail plenty of room for mount. Thanks for the info

Has anyone done this successfully or do the mounts still look to tall on the 20 MOA bolt gun??

Put a riser like the Badger 22 MOA on the semi auto and get a proper height rings on the bolt gun and swap when you want. It will work fine and be the proper height for both applications.
