Gunsmithing Question about a chamber reamer.

I just picked up a PTG removable pilot chamber reamer in 25 BR (.281 nk & .200 fb). My question is and I'm not up to speed on this, What bullet would this be best for? The heavier bullets due to the free bore?

Lost on the free bore deal?

What angle is the freebore at? .2 is most likely for the very heavy bullets. .180 is a normal freebore for the 140 in a 6.5 at 1.5 deg i believe.

It doesn't give a angle???? Could I still shoot the 75gr V-max's through such a chamber or would there be excessive "Jump"?

You need to add up the freebore and the throat. And you need to measure if the
throat starts at bullet dia. or a little larger. It takes a bit of travel just to get down
to bullet dia. and actually have the bullet touch the barrel due to the mild angles
throats have. A 22-250 is a perfect example, it has no freebore but due to the throat
starting out larger than .224 it is hard to seat a 50 grain to the lands and have anything left in the case. I personally like the wylde chamber design in .223 with
a long freebore at bullet dia. It has proved to be very accurate.

Study this awhile, it will help you to see the differences in what lengths, diameters and angles are involved.

ps, freebore and throat combined are termed as Leade.
