Recieved new Sako TRG 22 and has a harris style bipod apadter on bottom of rail. I attached Harris bipod and noticed it is loose from side to side and sideways. Is this normal or do I need some kond of adapter. Any help appreciated.

A harris adapter should not do that. Is it the factory sling adapter with the large eye hole?

I've fixed one with this same problem. Did your kit come with a regular style sling swivel that has very course threads? There is a large screew about where the bipod should go that the course threaded sling swivel will fit. It works very well but wasn't really made for it.

Other option is as stated above.

You can use a 1/4" aluminum spacer with a hole found at ACE Hardware that fits perfect in the factory sling adapter. Works great as long as you dont keep taking the bipod off and misplace the spacer. For less than a buck, problem solved.

You need the Harris #6 or #7 adapter. Which ever one is for the eouropean rail. They are around 8 bucks from midway. The large eyed stud is for the sling swivel I believe. R.R.
