I clean primer pockets and use ultra fine steel wool on the outside. I haven't had any accuracy issues but I have only reloaded the cases 3 times. What if anything am I risking by not cleaning the inside of my cases?

Nothing. I started using a vibratory tumbler, which doesn't clean the inside of the case, and have never had any problems. I now use a wet tumbler, which does clean the inside of the case and the primer pockets.

I'd suggest taking some swabs and cleaning out the inside of a few of your cases. Then think about whether whatever you have found is helpful or detrimental to (a) your dies, and (b) your powder charge.

Your brass source, what powder and charge, where you fire it, how you pick it up . . . and maybe more . . . contribute to what's inside *your* cases.

What??? I'm not exactly following you on this. The only part of the case that touches my dies is the outside which I polish with the steel wool. Can you please explain what your talking about?

Some dies do depending on type and use. Your posts give no indication of what cases etc you were talking about. So I included dies. In retrospect, probably should have included bullet seating lol.

If the fired cases are picked up off a rubber mat or concrete at an indoor range, you're probably fine.
