Rifle Scopes Question about NF zero stop operation

I seem to remember that the NF zero stop on a 2.5-10x24 or 32 scope also limits the turret rotation to only one turn. Am I nutz or is this true?

2.5x10 zero stop doesn't limit you to a single rotation.

It essentially functions like a stop nut on the turret screw, you spin it down to the point that you want the turret to stop then tighten the lock screw.

I have no idea what the 1.1-4 zero stop looks like.
