terrebonne, or
ok so just a quick question. i got a chance to pick up a super clean 300wm sendero, has approx 60 down the tube and comes with 100 rounds all for 700.00, no optics but does have the mounts. Does that sound like a decent deal to you guys? i know that you cant really tell without looking at the rifle but imagine 1 that looks virtually brand new.

Re: question about sendero 300wm

I think that is a fair price. Remington made seneros a few years back that didn't have a stainless barrel and wasnt fluted. If it a newer one they changed the stocks and i thimk they are alot nicer. If it is stainless i believe that is a nice deal on the rifle. If it is the older style that is carbon steel barrel that isn't fluted, with the ammo with it isnt to bad but see if you could negotiate on price a little. Bright sides of things they shhot the same with a trigger job and beded action and pillar bedding.

Re: question about sendero 300wm

I've got the original sendero in 300WM. They sit in HS Precision stocks with aluminum bedding blocks. Mines been skim bedded to the stock. It had about the same round count as yours and I paid 6 for it. It shoots really nicely. Came with a tasco scope and mount which I took off and threw away. Put a badger 20 MOA rail on it, badger rings. Next plans for it are a new barrel when she needs it and manners stock with dbm. I had fun with it, but the action will most likely get donated to a new build.
