but im getting ready to ship my stock to Jeff at CDI

do i just send the stock?

no reason i need to send the barreled action as well, right

That's all I did. Just shipped him my stocks and they fit like a glove. If you want him to setup the mag release then you'll need to send him your BA. I fit my mag release with a little time and a file.
