i have a bolt rifle with the side bolt release and the original is just flopping around. should it have been removed or is this okay. im just wondering thanks

The factory releases have been removed on mine. They are all Rem 700's with side release mods. Hope this helps.....

I used the defensive edge kit, and it was nice and the instructions were pretty good.....
