question about surfire socom 762 brake

dose any one have a surefire 762 brake on a larger barrel
I got a Bartlein Barrels .308 5R x 26", .299/.308 Bore/Groove x 1-11.25 Twist its there #14 barrel contour that is there 420 type barrel and I was woundering how bad there barrel gap to brake is going to be
by chance any one have a picture of one on thers they can share

With the SOCOM brake you do not have to turn down the barrel behind the brake for use with the suppressor.

I'm doing the exact same thing. I've got that exact barrel and just picked up a SFMB 762-5-8/24. Should look pretty close to this:

I'm going to get mine cut at 22" (before the brake) so that the outer diameter is close to the largest OD on the brake, similar to that post.

great find man exactly that's what im trying for barrel wise at least

not sure on length but I was wishing for it to be at like 24.5 but I guess ill have to brake the mic out when I get the brake and do some bad math lol
