question 'bout Kestrel battery consumption & door

Been reading about Kestrel 4000s having problems with battery consumption which eventually causes the battery compartment door to break from overuse. Is this really a problem or just exaggeration from those who like to complain?

Do the model 4500s have the same battery consumption problems and/or battery compartment door design?

I have a 4500 Horus and the metal taps get bent and have trouble making contact some times but I just bend them back not a deal breaker

Do you know if the case door design is the same as on the 4000?

Yes they are identical I also have a 4000

Has anyone else had problems with a data storage glitch and fast battery consumption on the model 4000 or is it a moot point for shooting purposes?
