Rifle Scopes Question on Leupold Mark 8 3.5-25

I know Leupolds aren't exactly favorites here but I was wondering if anyone has gotten to really compare the new Mark 8 against S&B / Premier / Nightforce.
It seems like it would compare pretty well based on the specs and depending if you can get a mil discount might even be pretty competitive price wise.

The FOV seems very close to the S&B is slightly better
the leupold is slightly lighter and alittle shorter

The eye relief is very close 85mm sb / 83mm for leupold

Anyone thinking it will actually be a solid scope?

I don't think it is expected to be released till at least August. Haven't seen any reviews on it either.
