Rifle Scopes Question on using MIL DOT 2.5-10x Nightforce

I've got a 2.5-10x 24mm Nightforce. It has the close range mildot reticle.

At what magnification is the scope meant to be set at to use the mildot's accurately? 10x I am guessing? I cannot find it stated anywhere in the Nightforce literature.

Put a yard stick at 100 yards and when it is 10 mils it is the right power but I would venture to guess it is at 10x as the 3.5-15 and 5.5-22 are max power.

I have the reticle manual in front of me and it states for your scope that 10X is correct.
