I need to build up a stock of brass for my LR308. Currently I only have 29 pieces of Winchester brass for my load I have worked up. Will performance suffer from buying once fired 308 brass from midway, Natchez, etc. as opposed to waiting for brand new brass? Of course I will fl resize it and trim it first. Thanks guys.

Brass life might suffer a bit. Depending on what chamber it was fired from, you might have to resize the first time more than optimum to get the brass to fit in your chamber smoothly. After they're fireformed in your chamber then it's pretty much a wash.

Brand new is preferable, but these days you got take what you can get.......
