Rifle Scopes Question: Scope height - Ring height

Question, I have a Suarez Tactical 308 with an M-24 Bartlein barrel. It has a Nightforce base rail with 20 moa. I am putting on a US Optics 5x25-58 TPAL with 35mm tube. Anyone know what the lowest ring size will work? I am thinking maybe 1"? Thanks, Jay

1" should work. It's what I use on my 56mm S&Bs with similar barrel contours. There's room between the butler creek scope cover and the barrel.

Thanks! That's what seems right to me. I have a NF 5x22-50 on it now with 1" rings and I have around 3/8" room between the barrel and objective.
