I recently bought a an FN SPR in 300 WSM which I plan on shooting at a comp in September. That gives me a limited number of range days that I can utilize for training between now and then, and I would like to spend more of them on productive marksmanship training, and less on ladder testing for load development. I would prefer not to spend more than one range session on load development. Any suggestions on how to do this? I will be shooting 180 SMKs, RE17, and Winchester brass, none of which I have fire formed yet. Also, (I have no experience with the 300 WSM) should I use a magnum primer with RE17, or will a fed gmm or cci 200 be ok? Thanks in advance.
