Forget which podcast but he went into detail on what he thought the srp issue was with large firing pin.

The AE’s all have large firing pins, so it may have issues. Give it a try. If it doesn’t work, have the pin turned down and bolt face bushed.

I have an AT large firing pin and shoot SRP brass in 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5x47L and have never pierced a primer. I think CCI primers have a thicker cup which helps I'm sure. I haven't tried federal small primers yet.

Seems like most have issues. My recommendation is to send it to Longrifles inc. and get it bushed. I need to send one to him this summer when my work situation is better.

Lri did my aiae bolt. It was sketchy before at 43.0gr h4350 and lrp brass in 6.5. I'm running 43.9 with lrp brass now and its perfect.

But you are still using LRP. I want to try a 147 load.

Yeah. I had 50 pieces of win brass already nk turned, flash hole debuted, primer pockets uniformed. I wasnt going to throw them away with just 2 firings, lol. When they crap out, I got a blue box of brass for it...
