I just received my new Quickload program and Quicktarget (exterior ballistics program) was included with the QL disk. How does it compare to JBM? I haven't had time to play around with either yet, just wondering if the QT program was as good as JBM.

    Thanks in advance.

IMHO, yes. It is very nice to be able to build a load, in QL and then open quick target and hit the "receive data from quick load" button...all parameters can be adjusted and is as accurate as any other program, so long as you feed it the proper information.

If you purchased latest Quick Target/Load, third external ballistics program named "Quick Target Unlimited" came in same cd. Very shortly said, QTU can use bullet specific doppler radar data (Cd), which is basically as good as it gets when calculating trajectorys. Basically same thing can be done with JBM online calculator if you pick Lapua bullet which has "(Cd)" marking after name in bullet library.

As far as I know, Lapua is only bullet manufacturer who offers that data to its customers. It is as good as it gets.
