Gunsmithing Quite Remmy Safety

When you engage and disengage the safety on Remington 700's there is a noticeable click. Is it possible to make it silent? I have a Browning A-Bolt and I can put that rifle on and off safe and it is whisper quite.

If you move it slowly you can make it switch without any noise. otherwise if you just click it over it makes noise....
