does anyone know if remingtons r-25 308 upper will mate up with an armalite ar-10 lower?

Badshot is correct. They are not the same. The Armalite has a flat cut out in the rear for their Upper.
The DPMS/Knights/CMMG's have a round shape like a normal AR 15.
A Armalite upper will fit on the DPMS style lower however with a large gap in the rear.
