So. I am going to get into precision shooting. after looking and reading a while. i found a remington 700 tac aac sd with a nikon monarch 3 4-6x42 bdc scope
yes i know the houge stock sucks. but i still feel this thing should be reasonablly accuate. feel free to educate me on what i can expect to get out of it @ 100yrds
i picked up 3 different types of match grade ammo today. Fed Gold medal match 168gr American eagle 168gr OTM and Nosler match grade custom comp 175 gr HPBT.
I know 168 is pretty much the standard and I am not trying to re-invent the wheel on this. but what advantage could 175gr offer except a harder hit down range and a little bit less effected by wind?

while I am not new to shooting or hand loading handloading is not an option for me at this time. but I am always open to some good load data to try out when i go home and have a reloading press at my disposal.

this is all in the mean time while i wait for my form 4 to come back then to set up for 100-200 yard subsonic
I have looked at some of the options on this
Right2bear has a 168 and 208 gr
atomic ammo has a 175 gr
anyone have any experience with these rounds, recomendations or any other usefull knowledge.
thank you!
