Haven't been there in quite some time. Too bad it burned, but I won't notice. Community is far too crowded. Surprised nother buildings didn't suffer more damage.

Way over-rated. However, it did tie up a lot of people in one spot. Now my favorite restaurants will be even more crowded.

Louis Louis is similar, think it’s the same owner. Great southern in water color/ seaside area is good also

There are a lot of good restaurants, the bay is a good one also. It’s on the south side of the bay along 331. If you want to venture a little further away, Nicks seafood on 20, just west of Freeport probably has the best fish in the area. The owner is well known in the area, he has his own boats and catches his own fish.

Ditto on Nick's. Not much to look at, but I don't go there for the ambiance. Check before you go. They have different winter hours. I'll give Donut Hole and LA Lagniappe a thumbs up, as well. The original DH was a regular for breakfast when we lived in Destin.

Core or Atlus I think it’s called now, is north of Crestview, a little drive but a nice facility. Range Project LLC is a relatively new one, closer to where you will be visiting. I have not been there yet but it looks good from their Facebook page. Copeland”s gun shop in Freeport is good, the owner is very friendly. He is a gun smith and sells reloading supplies. The other gun shops are all in Ft Walton beach or crestview, precision tactical and AA tactical in crestview are both good places.

Bullets and Bones just east of 331 in DeFuniak Springs. Southern Tactical about 10 miles west of Crestview between I-10 and 90. There is a new indoor range (if you care for those) in Valparaiso.
