I'm using Lupua brass, both Win small rifle and CCI match primers with Varget powder. Do you guys have a bullet to top it off with? I'm punching paper at 400 and less. Mostly 100-200.
Thank you so much for your help!!!

I've had great success with Sierra 69MKs. I'm going to try Hornady's equivalent soon as they are cheaper.

Also, try nosler 55 spitzers or Hornady's version. They might shoot better out of your 1-12 barrel.

For punching paper the 52g SMK's are hard to beat. For varmints, take a look at the BC on the new Hornady 53g V-Max.

60g nosler ballistic tip varmint spitzer

good enought to exsplode clay pigeons at 550 yards

Ran the same brass/powder in a 12 twist Kreiger.......loved 52 SMK's or 52 Berger Match.

Thanks guys! Looks like something in the 50-55 grain? I'm going to check them out!

Re: R700 -223 12 twist What is your fav bullet?

60 V-max worked well for me with 12 twist Rem 700.

Re: R700 -223 12 twist What is your fav bullet?

Well I switched to Hornady V max 55 grains (it's what the store had) and changed powder to H335. OMG!!! I thought I was missing the target 4 times! Turned out it was all the same ragged hole. I was so happy I could have done summer-salts! Thank you guys so much for the direction!!!!
