Trying to do a cheap precision rifle Build. Started w/ my R700 Long Range (#84164). This model had a BC M40 stock, which I modified by filing & building up w/ Devcon to have same the grip as my Manners T2A. Also added a PTG flush mount military style BDM (for AICS mags w/ up to a 3.775 COAL). Bipod is not really a mod - just a Harris that attaches to a sling mount. Still need to paint the stock & maybe bed it. Need to put some rounds through it before I go to the effort of bedding it.
Need to get a better check rest. Foam/moleskin works, but it's a hassle to when I have to clean the rifle. Any recommendations on the lace up check rests?
