Rifle Scopes R700 Barrel contour for new scope? Ring Height?

Ok this is a dumb question? Reading "how to measure for rings" Glen Seekins says you need the barrel contour? So I have a R700 SPS Varmint, which contour do I have? I just know it as a bull barrel?
A Vortex Viper PST 50mm is going on it.

It's the Rem Varmint contour. Close to a 5.5 contour from most makers but not always as the numbers differ. It's the #13 for Bartlein http://www.bartleinbarrels.com/contours.htm
