Re: R700 - Firing Pin Spring Rate

factory spring is 24#...SA standard weight.

Best I can recall from my old fart brain.

Re: R700 - Firing Pin Spring Rate

Thanks Sean,

I should have asked this in the first post, but do you know the free length as well?

Thanks again

Re: R700 - Firing Pin Spring Rate

that I don't know.

If it's a replacement spring you're after, there are a few companies that make them...What are you trying to accomplish?

Re: R700 - Firing Pin Spring Rate

Sean,

Just for general knowledge and comparison between actions. Was reading about the development of the RPA & CG INCH belleville springed actions and was wanting to compare back and forth between the two. Also, was reading on David tubbs website site about firing pin forces & speeds (technical section). Basically wanting to do some math between the two.

I'll have to just order on the next time I place an order. Thanks again.
