"Racism cannot die if continuously fertilized and watered" - FS1, here on The 'Hide. I think that's a brilliant observation, enough so that I have adopted it as a part of my own signature line.

I also think it pretty effectively highlights the brazen doublethink/doubletalk that's being used in Congress lately to justify outrageous political attacks on anti-socialist dissenters.

The left are the ones constantly fueling racial animosity and division today. Nothing, and I mean abso-fucking-lutely NOTHING, is immune from being turned into a race issue by the leftist fucks. Even something as mundane as talking about ice cream toppings can be hijacked and turned into some militant race issue by the leftist nutjobs. I guess having no jobs and familial responsibilities to keep them occupied provides them with plenty of time and brain fodder to slide down the spiral ramp into full WTF land.

They seem to think ALL right leaners are racists.....I think they need to let it go because it just ain't true.

You just now figuring this out?

Did you not notice all the racial hyperbole leading up to the 2016 election?

Starting with Trayvon Martin all the highly politicized police shootings, and false flag incidents. BLM, Kaepernick, riots, and such.

All disappeared overnight election day.

Just like kids in cages and again Kaepernick and Nike just before the midterms.

Racism is a tool to motivate the sheeple.

It is a crude and juvenile shock tactic that the left employs whenever their arguing points have been shot down by their opponent with facts or they find themselves cornered into holes that they have dug themselves. It doesn't have to be true. It just has to play on the feelings of their target audience.

Look at an elementary schoolyard argument. The discussion may start out civil enough. But once one group clearly has made a valid point and the other group does not want to admit defeat and gets extremely butthurt about it? You start hearing responses like: "Your mom fucks donkeys", "Shut up, you're gay", "Ahaha! I saw a video of you sucking dick", and other lines following this pattern. These rebuttals are meant to induce more primal responses from the listeners, whether it be laughter, revulsion, or anger, and is meant as a very childish attempt to bail out of an argument that they know they have lost. When the left accuses their opponents of being racists, no matter what the subject of discussion is, they are using these same tactics.

Most children grow up out of this phase and become functioning, useful, and rational adults. For most on the left, it seems like they have never left that phase of childhood.

Racism is an ingrained survival mechanism in dna...
A threat to the race/tribe/family unit/individual historically came from somebody "different"...
Racism has always been somewhat weaponized to facilitate survival, and both parties today use it as a weapon...
To try to win..

The intent of the post was to elicit views, and that it did; and I'm sure there are more.

So let's see them.

Screaming, "Racist" has become much the same as shouting, "Squirrel....!"; a deflection and a diversion, and not a contribution to polite discourse.

Methinks they've worn it out, and that it's employment has really become a confirmation that its targets are actually not racist, but the contrary, merely being portrayed as such as a means of slander and defamation.

Of course I figured it out. The point is that now, you and I and the rest of us are facing up to it out loud.

Hypcrisy cannot stand the light of day and the righeous anger of the decent person.

I ran to post office today. On NPR they were having a race discussion via call in format.

One caller discribed how he had been robbed and beaten by a group of blacks. The Mods said it was irrelevend and did not promote the discussion to discuss it.

They continually request discussion but only if you use thier terms, support thier crying BS etc.

If you are to deal with them bring your feelings and leave your logic and facts at home.

Thanks, Greg and FS1.

That is a really well-phrased and thought-out sentiment. Wish I'd thought of it.

Thanks for posting, sir!

A lot of people receive some benefit by screaming racism even when it does not exist.

If you take away any received or perceived benefits from claiming racism, it will stop. Until then, those that benefit by using the term will continue to benefit.

They aren’t gonna let it die Greg.

Nation shall rise against nation was the warning in the good book.

That word nation is originally race.

Buckle up cause this inorganically will become much more than the 60s.

Racism is a moneymaker.

Just ask Al Sharpton, Jesse and a few others.

It pumps money into 6 figure "Diversity Co-ordinator" jobs and generates a shot ton of training and everything else.

Its drain on the economy in diverting the productive to the unproductive is huge.

Things have not been worse than they are at present in my lifetime.

@pmclaine I'd argue the agenda is coming from much further up the money chain.

Cultural marxism at work, but it goes further up than that even still.

Things are about to get biblical.

This has been written about before.....

Radical Chic and Mau Mauing the Flak Catchers.....

Somewhere within that work Wolfe talks about "Steam Control".

It was a term coined by a pre Al Sharpton, Al Sharpton.

His idea of "Steam Control" was to approach a business and basically tell them "Pay up or I will foment some racial tension and cause great harm to your business"

Thus the proto Al Sharpton was in "Steam Control"....

We all hate the odd one out....blacks hate whites - whites hate blacks. Whites hate browns/yellows/reds/and anything and anyone that doesn't suit their stereotype.

Get over it. Humans Hate. It just is. Don't believe me? Try to convince anyone of any color, creed, or culture differently.

The Hate is inherent and anyone who wants to move beyond it is a traitor to the human race. We all wanna hurt folks that don't fit the norm or Our Stereotype. So that makes it OK. Hate who ya want and leave me out of it. I was born without a fuck to give- I only hate those who hate or bully. I'm all fucked up. I am an equal opportunity hater. I only hate those who hate others or who are intolerant. I cannot tolerate intolerance or Hate and don't stand for it.

So I pretty much hate everyone and react accordingly.

VooDoo

Racism is just noticing that someone is different from yourself. You can stop it or prevent it as long as humans have eyes.

so sick of this being used to defend ignorance.

these morons think they can say whatever retarded idea or outrageous lie they want, and if anyone calls them out on it, they accuse the other of racism.

AOC: We have 12 years before we are all dead!
Anyone: No, that is dumb.
AOC: Racist!

Omar: Al Queda is not bad.
Anyone: Wrong! They are terrorists.
Omar: Racist!

For me this is so true. When I was young, I loved Jimi Hendrix music. Just something about the guitar work and the sound. I never saw a picture of Jimi, and I still remember the first time I actually saw one of his album covers and realized he was black, It never entered my mind before that. I didn't think any more or less about him, it just never entered my mind.

It was the same 30 years later attending teleconferences and then a year or two later meeting up with someone from across the country, or across the pond. Unless they spoke in ebonics, race never enters into my mind except I imagine people like myself. I don't change my opinion once I meet them, if they are an asshole, they still are an asshole regardless if they are like me or not.

Does that make me a racist? I'm curious.

I have long said that as long as you think of yourself as something other than part of the whole things won't change and will in fact get worse.

Pride in history and heritage is fine. But when used as a tool or weapon it is part of the problem.

Racist is the little word that cried wolf. Like always they over killed and called everything racist. This is actually good because people can see the truth and are starting to speak it even if you call them racist.

All Trump supporters are white supremacist's, even his supporters of color are white supremacist's. Racist is a word with no meaning anymore.

The left does not want a conversation on racism, because they know it can't be solved without talking about it. They don't want to solve it. They just want to empower themselves with it. Black people are not stupid and they are starting to see that it's the left thinks they are stupid. The left want to make them dependent and give them free stuff. The right wants them independent and gives them a job.

Eyes are opening and this is good.

P.S. Illegal immigration hurts black folks more than anyone. Is this why the left supports it so much? It looks like they want to oppress the black race, so they keep voting D. Black people don't like being played just like everyone else does not. "Woke" Black people are the Dems biggest threat and they know it.

Nah.

Racism is treating someone differently based on their race.

It could be "better" treatment or "worse" treatment but how you are perceived or treated is not based o n your character but on an arbitrary characteristic based on identity.

If you have bias, yes your eyes will make the decision for you before there is the opportunity to assess the actual soul of the individual.

"Bias" and "Racism" are stupid and corrosive to society.

We are living in a period where one side is using "Bias/Racism" as both a cudgel and a shield.

Its bull shit and the best way to fight it is with truth.

So, maybe, depending on your identification, your eyes see a very fat ugly female.... shes very different from you............. and that makes you racist ?

I'm just a old white fuck, who has had to put up with racism all my working life.

Skin color was promoted many times over me, now if they were able to do the job or complete the task, an best choice for the job I don't have issue with that. However having to train their ass or save the mission they fucked up from lack of ability/planning, is flat out Racism pure an simple. That shit started in the mid 60's an I still seen it in 2009 when I told my employer to fuck off an retired. No one whats to talk about that kind of shit, but it happens all the time.
And for those motherfuckers that label me as a fucking racist just keep it up, because if I'm accused of something long enough I'll be the best motherfucker you ever seen at it. Pay back is coming for some of us an it can't get here too soon,..

Racism in its worst form is real.

Racism when used as a shield is the alternative to truth.

Its easy for someone to say "He doesnt like me because........racism!"

Its projecting the problem to the critic rather than the person critiqued.

Its much tougher psychology to come to the conclusion "He doesnt like me because.......Im an asshole!"

The second is hard truth. The first is avoiding responsibility.

If you are a douche and deserve the criticism just own it.

Dont try to create racism where its doesnt exist to protect yourself from criticism.

MLKs best most truthful comment concerned "Content of your Character"

Racism is also a good excuse for ones own failures. It's easier to accept than "maybe it's my fault". JMHO

Hitler was a racist he want Blond Blue Eye Tall Germans, you could still be German but if you didn't have those qualities then Hitler didn't want you. Racism is a broad term associated with hate, you can never remove it from our DNA. Lets say you hate a race of people and you eliminate that race. Do you think you end hate ? What happens is that with the race that is left you start hating those in your own race that you disagree with over looks, opinions or what ever, the train keeps rolling.

The train will never stop rolling as long as anyone wants to be all powerful.
Those wanting power hate anything or anyone that thwarts their ascension to power.
And historically try to destroy whatever or whoever that may be.
And historically try to destroy anyone else they choose to dislike.

Hitler was neither blonde nor blue eyed, basically he hated himself and repeatedly tried to destroy himself, and succeeded. A lot of innocent people died in Hitler's insane suicide attempts.

There is no rhyme nor reason for the chosen victims, the most frequent is, "they dont look like us",
Ignoring that appearance alone does not make them truly different, all are human brothers and sisters.

Evil creates hate. Hate has many names, racism is one of many.

You see clearly, that is evident. Best to you. Evil tries to destroy us all.
