Rail system question

I'm looking at an adm base for a bi-pod and their website says "....to accommodate both in spec and out of spec rail systems. " What does this mean?

The answer to the above question might answer the next question.... but here goes. Does this fit a picatinny rail or will it fit an arca rail? (Or neither).

Means it has a tension adjustment to make sure it fits most rail systems even if they are a little wider or narrower than the “standard”

For Pic rails. As mentioned above, tension is adjustable to fit one that is not quite "mil-spec".

If ADM doesn't specifically state that their mount is for ARCA (and they do make one that is ARCA), then it is for picatinny.

It took a bit of digging, but I think I found the correct adapter to fit.
