Just looking at what you guys have seen with these powders and them being temp stable or not.

I used LRT in a .338LM Improved 40 during the great powder drought of 2020 and noticed some sensitivity. It wasn’t a wild swing like I used to get with RL25 back in the day, but it was definitely noticeable when shooting in 90s F degree weather vs 50s.

Sounds like rl26 keep it under 85 degrees and should be good. I usually don't shoot in 90 plus degree weather.

~.9fps per ° tac is also very similar. . For perspective h1000 is roughly 0.5fps per °.
Yeah a little touchy. I wonder what happens if you create a load in the mid 70s to low 80s and shoot from 30 to 80. I seen powders do crazy things even the good temp stable ones every now and again.

I'm not sure about temp sensitive, but I have been quite unhappy with accuracy of LRT in 338LM. My first time shooting 300 gr A Tips with LRT, I had great results with one load. I bought a bunch and haven't been able to replicate my success. Tried multiple guns/shooters, all the same results.

Not what I wanted to hear after buying some

I got good accuracy with LRT in a .338LM Improved, but it was still a bit on the slow side.

I just tested lrt and had some pretty good results good accuracy not top notch but good. Sd in sigle digits 6.8 for 8 shots up to 15 shots in a row it got a little bigger 12. Shot from 50 degrees to a top of 82 and never seen any crazy temp sensitivity. 30 nosler 250 a-tip 2849 avg speed.

    Decent results so far
