If you were shooting something with Creedmore in the name, maybe you would have hit escape velocity and gotten a hit. Stop using 1950’s equipment, it’s so easy even Israelis can get an impact with crater causing velocity on the moon.

Nice shot of Jupiter, what di you use to get it? Ive been trying but my 10x50 binos wont do it and I cant hold the scope that still.

I took these shots last night with my vortex razor hd spotting scope with a phone mount. Nothing special

Just went out again with the 10x50's and I found one of the moons of Jupiter but the moon is so bright it obscures the rest. There's another planet, Saturn Id guess to the east.

Depending on where you are in the US Saturn will follow the moon rise tonight and should appear to the 8 o'clock position relative to the Moon with Pluto following. Jupiter should be to the 2 oclock roughly right now.

Thats about what I got but cant see Pluto...which was downgraded to a dwarf planet.
