The Build:
Remington 700 in .308
24" bbl
1 x 12 twist
AICS 1.5 Chassis
Timney 40x Flat Trigger
LaRue Tactical QD Scope Mount, LT120
LARue Tactical Short Action Rail w/20 MOA
Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 — Second Focal Plane
Victor Company Viper Skins
KRG Bolt Lift
Harris bi-pod
The Ammo:
168 grain Hornady HPBT
43.3 of Varget
Winchester primers
My original once fired Winchester brass
The Result:
I did an OCW test (per John McQuay 8541 Tactical) and ran from 40.0 up to 45 grains and had two good groupings at 41.7 and this one at 43.3.
Included a pic of the best of my 5 shot groups. (Shot prone with bi-pod and rear bag)
For a guy who hadn't fired a gun a year ago, I can't begin to tell you how awesome of a feeling this was.
I'm not sure how much more I can ask from an un-blueprinted 700?

And at 600.

Thanks for all the help gentlemen!
Zeke
