Range Report! Rem597 with VQ barrel.

So my order of Wolf ME decided to show up so I hit the range today for a quick sight in and a few groups.

All groups were shot off of a bench using the bipods and a rear bag. Didnt have too much time (had family business to attend to)

Rem 597
VQ barrel, hammer and extractor
Boyds stock
Tasco 2.5-10x40 mildot scope
Harris 6-9 S-BRM bipod
Polished internals

Wolf Match Extra

<span style="font-weight: bold">Range/Conditions:</span>
50 yards
Winds at 10MPH from 2 o clock
80 degrees

First 5 shot group shot from a clean barrel to season the barrel

10 shot group, I pulled the last shot.

Another 5 shot group

It looked like the more I shot the Wolf ME out of this barrel, the better it grouped.

<span style="font-weight: bold">Group 2:</span> 10 shots, .417" center to center

<span style="font-weight: bold">Group 3:</span> 5 shots, .238" center to center

Looks pretty impressive to me! I'd say the whole setup is a keeper!

Thanks guys! Sure does look like a keeper. And best of all it's not a 10/22. I hate having the same thing as everyone else.

LOL, thanks guys! It has the stock trigger, but the Volquartsen hammer lightens the trigger to 2-2.5 pounds.
