Working with an 18" WOA 223 Wylde in an AR15. The 300 rounds of 77gr Noslers ive been loading with some 8 different powders and 3 different primers have been yielding poor groups, maybe 2 loads would be close to 1 MOA.

Today testing the 77gr SMKs and they are doing much better. Next time i'll try expanding on some nodes. I really need to get a chrono, but until then ill try testing them at the 200-300 yard range. Does the 24.2-24.5gr node of A2520 seems to be stable, worth further testing at longer ranges?

While testing the IMR 8208 I ran out of target space, poor planning on my part, so i just held over the top targets. Its hard to tell how close they would have been with each of the diff loads.

Will try more powders with the Hornady 73 ELDM, and then maybe the Hornady 68 BTHP and 69SMKs.

Any analysis or suggestions would be greatly appreciated by this new reloader.

I'm assuming by "Tact" you actually mean Ramshot TAC?

When I tested TAC out of my 18" with 77's, I had two nodes, one at 23.4ish and one at 24.5ish.

I settled on XBR 8208, and my node was from 23.3-23.8. I settled on 23.5gr at 2.25 with 75gr HPBT

Never tried AA2520, but it may appear that 24.2-24.8 is more of an overall node. did you do any ladder testing with these at all? You're not testing a very wide amount of powder charges.

Yes I meant Ramshot Tac. Thanks for catching that.

No ladder testing yet.

I was afraid of early pressure signs and didn't want to have to pull bullets.
