Can anyone tell me what the correct power for ranging is with the Mark 4 6.5x20 scope. The book says generally it is the highest power but that does not work out. It looks to be closer to 16 but not sure.

It should be 20x for the SFP model. If it's not correct, then the wrong reticle is installed.
1 mil (large hash to large hash) should be 3.6" at 100 yards. What makes you think it's wrong?

We checked it at 20 power against a range finder several times and it is along ways off at 20 power. I know how to check it at 100 so I might do that next just didnt have a target at 100 yesterday and was to lazy to set one up.
