Rat vs arca

I have an mpa chassis (comp) with the spigot up front. From what I gather, the rail and spigot are mpa’s RAT (basically dovetail).

Will any arca lock fit that? Or does it have to be rat only? Seems to not be standard.

Debating a BT CAL gen 2 with a btc pro adapter so that I can run it on the mpa as well as pic if need be.

It will work with ARCA, might just have to flip the spigot upside down. I run an AccuTac with ARCA mount on the spigot on mine

It works with the RRS spec, but it’s slightly loose (doesn’t slip in my Anvil, so it’s not THAT loose).

As for “any” ARCA lock, it really depends. Lots of different specs out there, but the BTC-Pro will work with all of them. I have one arriving on Monday, after running a Chinesium lever-style for a long time; I’m tired of adjusting its tension every time I go to a different spigot.

i had to run with the arcalok pins in my A419 arcalok clamp for it to fit on an MPA rail/spigot. an RRS clamp worked fine
