Hello all,

I know that scopes often get compared to each other so I thought I would make a comparison thread game. All you have to do is post the order you would rate each optic in each tier and rate them from best to worst in order. Her it goes

Low-Mid Tier Scopes:

1. SWA SS 3-15x42 or 10x fixed
2. Steiner T5xi 5-25x56
3. Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50
4. Vortex Viper PST Gen 6-24x50
5. Vortex Razor Gen 1 5-20x50
6. Toric UHD 4-20x50
7. SWFA SS HD 5-20x50
8. Athlon Ares ETR 4.5-30x56
9. Primary Arms Platinum 6-30x56
10. Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27x50

Mid-High Tier otics

1. ZC 527 (Zero Compromise)
2. Schmidt & Bender PM II 5-25x56
3. Trijicon Accupower 4.5-30x56
4. Athlon Cronus BTR 4.5-29x56
5. Tangent Theta TT525P
6. Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56
7. Minox ZP5 5-25x56
8. Vortex Razor HD Gen 2 4.5-27x56
9. Leupold Mark 5 HD 5-25x56
10. Kahles K525i 5-25x56


You can also state your top 2 in each tier for best bang for your buck

swfa 3 15x42 is a scope that I like a lot owned a couple of Nightforce scopes i liked less
 
I’ll play, but I think your “mid tier” might need a little adjustment.
Tier 1:

1a) TT
1b) ZCO
2) s&b 525
3) minox

Tier 2)

1) kahles 525
2) vortex razor 2
3) nightforce 525
4) leupold 525

Tier 3)
Athlon

Tier 4)
Trijicon

(most of the kahles rating has to do with the terribly stupid fov constriction and the price point being higher than what it should. It should be a ~ $2500 scope. And the used market reflects this.)

Yeah,
Thats why I had it at Low/Mid tier
and Mid/High tier
Its a combo of both tiers
I could have broken it down further
and done a low tier mid tier and high tier but to save time I just combined em

True, I just put it in because I assum that most would have the 5-25 instead of the 7-35 ATACR
