I sent the scope in to vortex to have the turrets upgraded in December. Paperwork shown in pics.

For what? the picture of his work order states 'updated elevation & windage turrets' - what does that tell me?

When the Gen IIIs came out people complained about the turrets being mushy/soft clicks. He just sent it off to have turrets updated to the new standards, nothing more than that.

Thanks! Not sure how i would have deduced that from the photo's since i don't own one of these and am not a subject matter expert on Vortex scopes. Appreciate the straight answer.

When the Gen IIIs came out people complained about the turrets being mushy/soft clicks. He just sent it off to have turrets updated to the new standards, nothing more than that.

This sums it up.

Much more tactile and crisp than before. They also do a general cleanup of the scope as part of the service.
