Welcome to the forum. You'll have to just ignore some people - they forgot what they were like when they first started out. Others are willing to help. I have a Razor HD and really like it. Here's a video from the Vortex website showing a guy using a Razor HD during a match:

They ARE high-end optics. If you think high quality scopes start from $3,000 and up, you are in the wrong hobby. Good luck.
Give the OP credit, he asked his question in the proper forum instead of in the SH Cup area. He's learning his way around a bit and will get there.
James, if you haven't noticed buddy, google is your friend. It will save you some of the headache when you start threads.
I already have the BEAST and a Mk8 3.5-25 for "high end" scopes, plus some other quality scopes that aren't quite that expensive and just chose to pre-order the new Razor HD II instead of buying a SB or USO, so in my opinion it's a hell of a value from what I've seen.

The 1-6X HD is the tits.
Eurooptics or Chris at Liberty. Best $1400 you will spend. It's like HD tv for your rifle. Downside, a little heavy. Put my USO 1.5-6X to shame w regards to brightness, true 1X….
$2700 is the Kahles 1-6X, 17 ounces. Maybe Scott can do a little better. It's my next 1-6X for my SR-15. Who cares if it is SFP.
You will not be ranging with it.
Point and shoot. 50 zero, 1.5 high @ a 100, 4 low @ 200...
Not now with the Razor II coming out and everyone is wanting to upgrade but normally they sell for not much of a loss under what people buy them for if that.
The original Razor 5-20x is a very good optic for the money. You can get them at good used prices now as you can see but even new you could find them at good prices if you call and shop around.
The new Razor IIs as you can see from my posts and others who have them in hand are excellent top of the line optics which compete with all the well known high end optics.
