RCBS Lube Die

Re: RCBS Lube Die

I have 3 of them in different sizes. I did not have good results with the one for 308. I can't recall how well the one for 223 worked since it has been so long since I used it, but iirc it worked better than the 308 one did. I think there is too much taper on the 308 case for the lube die to work well.

What pistol brass do you need to lube?

You'd be better off buying carbide dies for those calibers, so you wont need to lube them. I load for a handgun caliber that doesn't have a carbide die for it and the strait walled case tore up the lube die.

Re: RCBS Lube Die

I have and use 2 of these dies 223 and 30 cal. Havent had any problems with them, alot easier than the old lube pad. What I have noticed is you have to keep the 30 cal well lubed or you might get a case stuck in the size die.
