I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the RCBS X-Dies. I havent ever used them and Im not sure if they would be worth the money to give them a try.. Any info would be helpful, Im going to be reloading for a 300WM..

Thanks

Re: RCBS X-Dies

I've been using one for a few years to keep my FALs fed. A bit of a PITA to set up, but it's worked well with my LC brass loaded on a 550B. I've only been reloading for 43 years, and I'm still learning new things. So YMMV.

Re: RCBS X-Dies

I have the small base X-Die for 223 for my AR so I wouldn't have to trim brass each time I loaded it. But I have never gotten the courage to drop the mandrel on it and let it do it's thing. I run it on my 650 and you REALLY have to cam over to get the shoulders bumped back enough where you don't have issues chambering the rounds. The folks over in the Enos forums run them and love them.

Re: RCBS X-Dies

Work pretty well! I have ran several batches of brass through it. I trim each case the first 2 times since I started using the x die, now I haven't seen much case growth 10 plus resizings!! They do take a little to set up right where you want them..
