Gunsmithing Re-blueing

I picked up a 1962 Ruger 22lr Standard and some of the finish has rubbed off of the grip area. The gun is in great condition other than that. Can it be restored back to like new finish and generally how much would it cost to do something like that if I had it done? Or should I just leave it alone?

I just ahead one done by boses guns in Nebraska it was an excellent job and cost 160 including shipping. Highly recoend them. Might google them and check out their website

I would suggest you start with ruger itself. Not sure if they offer services like Colt and S&W used to, but factory rebluing is worth exploring.
