I’m hearing stuff from all over that makes me feel like I’m reading George Orwell’s 1984 for the first time. I don’t watch news but every time I’m on here I hear about another blatant obvious constitution violation and/or so n so can’t have “black rifles” anymore or can’t buy more than 20 rounds a month or can’t buy airguns?? WTF over? Everyone here is quick to say from my cold dead hands, not one more inch, or buy more ammo, but it’s always easier to talk then act. Everyone is moving or hunkering down behind enemy lines but no one is getting to know their neighbor. No one has stood up when guns are taken on their street or in their state. By the time most people are sufficiently backed far enough into a corner to realize they have no choice but to fight or put on the yoke then even their fight will be no more than a chichuwawa barking and biting at a pant leg. What we need is communication. What we must start with is a honest assessment. State by state, county by county, borough by Burrough. I’ll go first.....
Alaska.., No significant gun laws now or proposed. Can carry open or concealed if legal to buy. No place is perfect though. We have lots of commifornia types coming up here in the summer thinking they get a say in things because they bought a summer house.. oh and while gun laws are respectful of the constitution, I could get in more trouble for feeding my family a moose out of season than I could for killing a man.. and then there’s the salmon.. if you own waterfront on the kenai peninsula that supports salmon then you can’t use a 50’ strip along the water. You still get taxed on it though.. tell us how free or how far behind enemy lines your state is.
