The553 is a basic 2-way head capable of both a vertical 90° friction-controlled tilt and 360° panning with an independent lock. Both motions are controlled via a long, video-style, control handle which has been thoughtfully equipped with an adjustment switch to enable "load pick-up" function. This unique feature engages a spring within the 553 which offers greater resistance when tilting.
