Same thing and results here but on an AR10 not a DPMS platform.

Except the OP's rifle is NOT AN AR-10...its an LR-308 (or DPMS/KAC pattern rifle)!
The Noveske barrels are mated to an Armalite-style extensions which will NOT work 100% on a DPMS LR-308 rifle...only on an Armalite AR-10 style rifle. The DPMS LR-308 rifles use a different extension.
There are several sources available for an LR-308 aftermarket barrel. If you want a drop-in, ready to install unit, check with Rainier Arms on their .308 UltraMatch Shilen barrels:
Also, check with Krieger as they offer finished barrels (but the wait time may be more than you want to bear...you'll have to check with them to find out the possibel wait). They are made-to-order, so you will have to send them your bolt and then they'll take a blank and finish it for you from there, including chambering, headspacing to your bolt, etc.
You can also get very nice barrels for either DPMS style or AR10 style rifles from Lothar Walther. They made the barrel for my MA TEN Monolithic I'm building.
What trigger is in it and what ammo? I have the same rifle with a little bit (very little and cheap) work and it shoots 1/2 MOA all day and then some, on a good day for me its 5 rounds under dimes and that covers the entire hole not just the centers
hers a funny thing, I bought the rifle new from scheels and it was about five pounds so i took it out and polished the sear and hammer and readjusted it and it was 2 pounds so i took it out and shot it. could not help but bump fire it so i called jp and they told me they were shipped with wrong springs and they sent me the correct ones at no cost which brought the trigger back to 3lbs
The barrel I'm considering right now is the Lilja AR10 barrels . Not the same quality as a Bartlein or a Krieger, but for $450 you get a drop in barrel that will most likely shoot better than I can.
