Any good recommendations for a long range class out here in North Texas?
6.5 creedmoor rifle, not ELR.

I shoot at TacPro from time to time and have heard good things about their long range courses.

Tiger Valley is located close to Waco

There is a Sniper's Hide 3 day training course, May 20-22, that is being held near Rotan, Texas. They may still have an opening.

I registered for the SH class in Rotan. Looks like a worthwhile pursuit. I don't own anything to shoot the ELR portion on the last day, but it'll be a great time.

You can also reach out to Charlie Melton, Charlie Mike Precision. He is in Normangee, not very structured and can really do whatever you want. He was a seal, sniper instructor etc etc, I have done piston / carbine and a long range class with him. Lots of fun and an adventure for sure.

Head on down to Rifles Only. Yes its not North Texas. But its worth the drive.

Otherwise Tiger Valley

Marc & Frank are doing a 3 day in Rotan TX May 20th-ish... it's about a 3 hour drive west of DFW. Great facility with ELR available but the class is primarily 300-1000.

HIGHLY recommend it.

I know I'm hopping in here late, but check out Badlands Tactical. They are in Grandfield OK, so about 3 hours from DFW. I have been very impressed with the level of instruction provided at their courses. The long range courses are more focused on team dynamics than individual (PRS style) shooting, but all of the principles transfer. Also, unless it's changed recently, lodging at the team house is included in the cost.

Sean of vaportrail tactical is an outstanding guy to learn from with an extensive experience in combat marksmanship with Marine STA platoons in OIF and is a great teacher. He is also the best one to seek for 1 on 1 classes as well. I think he is hogstooth on here I believe.

+1 on Vapor Trail Tactical / Sean Little. @Hogstooth on here. Great dude, great American - see picture of him below. He has been training both shooting hobbyists and shooting professionals for a long time, and he goes back to early days of OIF.

Sean used to live up here in VA and run bunch of courses and matches here, then he moved to TX. Most recently, he bought some land, accomplishing one of his big dreams, and is setting up a shooting range on this land.
