Recap of the URSA NorCal Apr '23 event (by RD, Lynn Dragoman; build info from Oscar)

The snow finally dissipated enough that we could shoot a couple matches. In Match 1 Lynn took the win at 2630 yards by one hit over RickyRacer87. Lynn was shooting his 375 Cheytac and Rickyracer87 was using his 33xc.The wind was switching and it wreaked havoc on the shooters. I forgot and left the pulley system used to raise and lower the gongs attached to the gong at 2630 yards and it got shot during the match.

On Match 2, at 2147 yards, Lynn loaned his gun to Amanda who got 4 hits but it came down to RickyRacer87 and Whitemamba with RickyRacer87 taking the win. Congrats RickyRacer87, you're getting that 33xc to shoot.

This coming Saturday, April 22nd, we are holding a qualification Match for any shooters who have not yet qualified to shoot the 3K match. On Sunday, April 23rd, we will be shooting our annual 3K Match which starts at 2630 yards this year.

Lynn, was shooting 400 gr. Cutting Edge Lazers out of his Tamagni-barreled 375 CT with Stiller TAC 408 (TAC DRIVER) action, Bartlein 36" barrel, McMillan LBR stock, March 5-42 Wide Angle scope, and Burris XTR rings on a 70 MOA Pic rail.

RickyRacer87 was shooting 300 gr Hornady A-Tips out of his Billy Goat Machine-built 33XC with BGM Ovis (Defiance Deviant Tactical) action, 31" Lothar Walther bull barrel, Manners T-5A stock, and Nightforce 7-35x56 ATACR scope on an ERATAC 0-70 MOA base and rings.
